Thursday, March 11 My parents refuse to fix the fan in my bedroom. My sensitive sinus-ridden nose cannot take the air-con too much, so you can imagine the ordeal I go through every night. And they say I have troubles falling asleep? Pffft, I wonder why.
The wet wet wet weather is getting on my nerves. Walking around campus with the ground all wet and everybody trying to huddle under the sheltered pathway to the bus-stop irritates me. Oh how I miss the glorious sun! That reminds me, I was called the Sun Goddess back in JC. Yes, there were a total of 6 Goddesses, though it only started with 3 ... And slowly, we started recruiting other Goddess-like friends and decided we would stop at the magickal number 7. Unfortunately, we could not find a 7th person fit to be a Goddess. Tam, Carol and I were the Three Stooges, always together ... If one of us were absent, and we met friends/teachers in school, the first thing these people would say was NOT a "Hello", but "Where's so-and-so?" Rude, I tell you! But anyway, so you can make a rough guess as to who were the original Goddesses, ha! Tam - PhagoGoddess; she deceives us all, really. Slim and slender, but whoaho! Her ravaging appetite just blew us (and the food in the canteen) off! Carol - BonGoddess; Yes, being a member of our JC used-to-be-damn-good Dance Club (I don't know what happened after Carol and our friends left), earned her the name ... Me - SunGoddess; I love being in the sun so much, thus ... Then the 4th member, Celine - BugGoddess; She was sick so often, and everytime she was sick she'd pass the bug on! Kay Lii - RainGoddess; Now, any negative emotions this girl possessed would always turn the taps in Heaven on. Lastly, Winnie - IceGoddess; Well, basically people thought she was icy, cold, unapproachable, unfriendly yadda yadda ... Well, that's it folks. Some reminiscing for tonight, mmmm. Oh! How could I forget Mrs Trueman!? My class's Civics Tutor (ie Form Teacher), she was a barrel of laughs and we were all saddened by her sudden migration to England TWO months before our A-levels. But anyway, soon enough, our Goddess Club was quite well known in the Arts Faculty, so much so that Mrs Trueman expressed her interest to be one of the coveted Goddesses. Ha! So I promptly told her that she would be 'put on probation', and whenever during Lit tutorials she'd try to give us something tough, I would just gently remind her that she was on probation. (chuckles) We all missed Mrs Trueman because in place of her, we had this Englishman, Mr Simon Reynolds (Think Simon Cowell). Hmmm ... What does this say about Simon-s eh. Well I certainly hope this was not a 'chim' post. (stares at certain individuals) -->Mandalay - Beautiful<-- |
