Wednesday, December 29

I really hope it is because of the period.
Sighs.

It was there
It is here now
In and within me
A circle around you.

Gentle, a suffocation
Sweet, these strangles.
Delicate, a wound
Fragile, we are.

Swift the scythe
Cuts the bond
No longer breathes
Henceforth, zilch.

Sunday, December 26

It was a really fun-filled topped with icing Christmas Eve, spent with good ol' friends (pun intended!). Music waves floating around in the air from the jamming studio all the way to Wen's house, then to Wala's. I really enjoyed myself, also that it was the first time I spent Christmas Eve out of the house with good ol' friends (same pun!). Watching Ser get really sleepy, somewhat resembling a narcoleptic; and watching Wen morph into a hyper bunny. Fun, whole day was happy :)
Well, to everybody, Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year :)

Thursday, December 23

It is official, I am experiencing my first hangover in all of my 20 years of living.
I have gotten drunk twice in my life; 1st when I was 16, after O's and my first time drinking vodka at a friend's chalet and they put like half cup vodka, half cup 7-up, 2nd was on New Year's Eve this year, mixed too many types of drinks together and thus missed the Steve Lawler set at Paradise.
Anyways, so those both times, I was puking like mad, terrible headache but I could stagger my way around and had NO hangover or whatsoever. Last night? I did not vomit at all, but I was swaying a hell lot and had to drag myself out of bed at 930 to play badminton at 11. I feel like I'm sea-sick. *Barf* Attempting to read in this state is bad Bad BAD.
I think Long Island Tea is quite potent, especially if you also have a few glasses of vodka drinks, and beer. *Barfs again*
I have taken 4 panadols since I got up and it's not helping. There was absolutely no way I could have dragged myself to give tuition after badminton ... (Head sways over keyboard)
I need a bath and sleep.
*Trips over on the way to the bathroom*

Waiting aimlessly around,
This wretched negativity.
Idle beings here abound,
Through the course of history.

Stoic as one does await,
Skepticism will detonate.
Absurdity served on a plate,
All things bad, perpetuate.

Now tranquil and calm,
One forces to believe.
The nadir to embalm,
Is a crank form of relief.

Sunday, December 5

You know how sometimes, you think you've forgotten and forgiven whatever misdeeds a person has done to you, and then a revelation of some sort hops along and you feel like a stupid fool? I feel exactly that way right now. Is it just my vulnerability to believe in the essential goodness of people? Okay, not "people", I am biased ... well then, essential goodness of women?

It's funny, I knew she was lying all this time, even up till now, telling our mutual friends totally warped stories which put me in the bad light.

Do we purposefully turn a blind eye to things we rather not know, for they say ignorance is bliss. It is bliss? Or it is sheer stupidity.

Well, it was all in the past, and I will forgive and forget ... I am just glad we have started speaking more to each other than before. My reputation (if I had any) would have already been ruined anyways, so I reckon .... Friends we'll stay to be.

Anyhow, had a really rocking good time at Serene's last night. Drumming, gorging ourselves with food, chilling out in her oh-so-neat-room and trying to do a Paula Cole sing-a-long which I failed miserably at. I like your place, Serene! Well, guess you and Dee made my fingers blogger-friendly today -laughs.
