Saturday, July 31

I just wanna rant and rave about how awul this month of July has been.
First I was hit with this illness which I shall not go into detail with ...
Then I had really bad monthly cramps.
Following which I was presented with another kind of malady, which unfortunately prevails up till now (and that too I refrain from describing)
That's 3, and counting ...
So then I had that terrible and embarrassing fall which has thus left me disfigured.
Also, I extracted my 2nd wisdom tooth.
That's 5 now for you.
Plus the fact that my chin and painful cheek keep getting punched during Muay Thai.
I seriously and honestly need to get rid of my Taekwondo habits and start guarding my face! *Growls*
Oh, and I stepped on glass today barefooted during class. Great eh.

An irritating cab ride ... with a sickening Indian driver.

Driver : You look like a tomboy.
Me : *Raises eyebrow*
D : Ya, are you a tomboy ah?
M : No lah! (already very appalled with his audacity)
D : Sure ah?  What happened to your face?
M :Fell down.
D : Aiyo, women ah, must take care of their face, must be beautiful.
M : Yeah, luckily chin lah, so not so obvious.
D : That's why, now you not growing already, must be careful.  What if something happened to your breast?

I'm like ... Utmostly flabbergasted, with a stranger worrying about my breast?
Sheesh.  Men.  Always preoccupied with their sexual idiosyncracies.

A piece of advice - Do everything in temperance.

Last night was a night of disastrous comedy. Twas a Wednesday and it's Ladies' Night almost everywhere else; so Fara's dad picked Carol and I and dropped us off at Mhd Sultan at 10.15PM. We were looking forward to last night cos it'd be free entry and free flow for females, plus Carol's going back to Perth soon. (Sigh). Anyways, we had champagne at CU, then we went over to Tha Wu Bar for gin and vodka. And by 1230, we were super-duper high, dancing on the wet dance-floor. Unfortunately, 'friction' had bade my boots good-bye a long time ago and WHAM, yours truly fell forward on the floor and banged her chin. So I struggled to get up, which almost felt as if I was on blades or something cos the floor was THAT slippery ... Finally picked myself up with the aid of a guy, touched my chin and discovered that my whole hand was filled with blood. To The Toilet : That was the first thing my mind commanded my legs to do. After having promptly walked to the toilet, attempting to stop the blood flow with tissue and pressure to no avail. And the whole 20 mins while I was slumped on the toilet floor applying pressure on my chin, my two dear friends were in the cubicles puking away.

I reckon the slight over-dose of alcohol was a blessing in disguise, for I would normally freak out if I see blood, and especially if I was the one bleeding and I so have a low threshold for pain. Friends would then ask how the hell I had managed to sit through my tattoo, and frankly speaking? I have no idea.

Anyways, so this lady helped me outside the bar, gave me more tissue and Fara came out with me. However, I regretted sending her back inside to get Carol for they took such an awfully long time to get out again. While waiting for them, I decided to call Vinn-U *Stares*, whom I thought could kindly give me a lift like he did a few times before. After FOUR missed calls *Stares again*, I gave up and figured that guy must be sleeping or (ahem) busy with something. Stumbled into a cab, while poor Carol fell and bumped her head. Headed to CGH's A&E, turned my head back upon arrival and saw that Fara was knocked out cold, thus figured I was alone and bade them adieu.

Staggered inside and the guy who was supposed to take temperatures of patients didn't even bother taking mine, he held me and brought me to the registration counter. A female nurse saw me and shouted to that guy "Wheelchair wheelchair!", so that was my first experience being pushed around in a wheelchair. And mind you, I have motion sickness and I honestly felt like vomitting when I was wheeled around in it. So the whole drama-mama A&E event took 2 hrs, and my dearestest cousins came to get me, really sweet thing for they had to wake up early for work today.

The whole situation is just hilarious. I'm too embarrassed to show my face in Mhd Sultan anymore, albeit twas only the 3rd there for me. Also I got interrogated today, my aunties and parents are ever so convinced I was drunk that's why I fell. But I assure you, it's not the case although I won't deny I wasn't quite sober. *Sheepish look* So my poor cousins got interrogated too, "Sheryl got into a fight right? Don't cover up for her!" Geewhizz, if Sheryl got into a fight, Sheryl would be in cuffs cos she'd hurt the other party really bad (scowls). That's my aunt for you, another aunt thought I fought with my boyfriend, and blah blah blah. But the floor WAS slippery! I sure hope it was wet with spilled drinks not barf or somesort. *Shudders*

So is this a long entry or what? Hmm, guess I have to postpone my wisdom tooth extraction till after my stitches are removed. Oh yes! Besides that laceration on my left chin, I woke up to find my left eye covered in this bluish-greenish eyeshadow. I have a black left eye, which I concur was from the impact of my spectacles when I fell cos my precious specs is all crooked now.

What a night ...

Tuesday, July 13

You know, it is depressing when you cease to do your the things you love anymore. Now Mini-mi (that's my djembe that someone bought for me) is sitting at one corner collecting dust. No more drumming, no more drum circle. My guitar is also sitting at another corner decomposing. I hardly touch it anymore. No more strumming, no more jamming, no more singing. My vocal chords have not been stretched for some time now. It's very distressing when I no longer do music anymore, and I don't exactly know what the reasons are...strange.

Music and sports are the two loves in my life. And I am no longer the sporty girl that most people knew me as, I've slackened so much that I don't do much sports these days. What has happened to me I really wonder. It can't be age. I'm barely 20.

So life's been barren, the days go by like that.
