Sunday, March 14 A very long week ahead. Datelines littered everywhere throughout the week. An NTU exchange student and his friends from Sweden, Australia and America spoke with me at Centro last night ... And this guy says it's so boring here, especially in NTU as there is no way of them getting to know the locals. The locals do not even want to look into their eyes. How bizzare is that. He added that Singaporeans just work work work work and work ... Agreed? Agreed.
I am tired. I am beat. Fatigue seemingly is a malady which thus has almost led me to believe I am an avatar of such. Another 28 days to the final exams. Am I fretting? No. Will I fret? Yes, promptly after I have sat for the papers. I mean hey, some superficial nincompoop did not believe I was in a JC, and had the nerve to say I looked like a 'school dropout'. Fair enough .. I might look one. And some of my friends even think I am a slacker (a tinge of truth perhaps), 'bo-chap' and blah blah blah. Yes, I might have marginally scraped it through to NUS with the aid of a whole big bucket of L-U-C-K, but! I reckon I have intellect of some sort ... Unfortunately it does not manifest itself via academia. -->Nitin Sawhney - Nostalgia<-- |
