When a fight breaks out, one guy is surely to be kicked to the ground. Then he tries to stand up, but as he does he gets kicked down again and again. After many failed attempts of standing up, he caves in and stays sprawled on the floor. He realises that there is no point trying to stand up, he just gets kicked down no matter what.

And that is how all faith and hope die.
